The General Contractors Association of Hawaiʻi has recognized Hale O Piʻikea Phases I and III with 2026 Build Hawaiʻi Awards of Excellence. Moss & Associates, the project’s general contractor, received honors for Phase I in the Residential Construction category above $10 million and Phase III in Building Construction from $10 million to under $25 million. Developed by ʻIkenākea Development, the two phases provide 126 of the community’s 223 affordable rental homes in Kīhei. Both were designed to LEED Gold standards and serve households earning up to 60% of Area Median Income. The awards were presented in Honolulu on August 1, 2026.
