Kamoʻiliʻili Apartments releases updated planning and community-response documents

ʻIkenākea Development has published updated planning materials for Kamoʻiliʻili Apartments, a proposed 180-unit affordable and workforce rental development in Honolulu. The documents provide information on the planned unit mix, requested Chapter 201H exemptions, project schedule, financing options and public-outreach process. A final transportation analysis evaluates anticipated traffic and multimodal conditions through 2029 and reports no significant transportation impacts requiring mitigation. The project team has also released responses to community comments concerning infrastructure, construction activity, parking, environmental resources, affordability and relocation of residents from the existing apartments. The proposal remains in the entitlement and financing phase.
