Financing closes and construction advances on Uahi Ridge Phase II

Financing has closed for Uahi Ridge Phase II, allowing construction to proceed on the second portion of the affordable rental community in Līhuʻe. Developed by Mark Development and ʻIkenākea Development, Phase II will add 60 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments to the 96 units in Phase I. The completed community will contain 154 income-restricted homes and two manager units, including residences supported by long-term Section 8 rental assistance. Planned amenities include community rooms, laundry facilities, a playground and outdoor gathering areas. Energy-efficient appliances, photovoltaic panels and electric-vehicle infrastructure are intended to support the project’s anticipated LEED Silver certification.
