Uahi Ridge construction work brings temporary Halekō Road detour

Concrete work associated with the Uahi Ridge housing development will require a temporary westbound road closure in Līhuʻe from Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 30, weather permitting. The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation advises that the closure involving Halekō Road and Nāwiliwili Road will remain in effect around the clock during the work period. Vehicles will be directed through Kukui Grove Street, with signs identifying the alternative route to Kukui Grove Center. Drivers should allow additional travel time and consult HDOT’s roadwork notices for any schedule changes.
